<h1 style="text-align: center;">Comptroller Tom DiNapoli for Re-Election</h1>Eight Democratic county chairs in Western New York announce their support for State Comptroller Tom DiNapoli as he seeks re-election in 2026Albany - TODAY, December 19, 2025, Tom DiNapoli's campaign announced that eight Democratic county chairs in Western New York have endorsed him for re-election.The endorsing county chairs are Michael Plitt - Genesee County, Stephen De Vay - Monroe County, Jeff Lewis - Orleans County, Scott Comegys - Wayne County, Cindy Appleton - Wyoming County, Marcia Westling Johnson - Chautauqua County, Jeremy Zellner - Erie County, and Mandy Bushnell - Cattaraugus County.<h4>"Donald Trump's failed economic policies are hurting workers, retirees, the middle class, and all New Yorkers. As Comptroller I'm fighting every day to protect New Yorkers against the disastrous decisions of the Trump administration. Our united Democratic front, including the unified support of Democratic leadership across Western New York, is how we keep fighting back," said New York State Comptroller Tom DiNapoli. "As Comptroller, I've protected taxpayers, fought corruption, stood up to Wall Street, and returned hundreds of millions to everyday New Yorkers. I'm proud to have these trusted progressive leaders with me as we continue that work."</h4>These new county chair endorsements join more than 30 chairs from Richmond County, the Capital District, the Hudson Valley, and the Mohawk Valley who have all endorsed Comptroller DiNapoli's reelection. DiNapoli's campaign said the endorsements reflect broad confidence in his record of independent oversight and results-driven management on behalf of New Yorkers across the state.

Wyoming County Community Hospital is our local hospital, one of two county-owned hospitals in the State of New York. When Congress passed the "Big Beautiful Bill" reducing Medicaid payments, WCCH is threatened. In addition, two nursing homes in Warsaw, already on life support, may be forced to close. How are county residents to receive healthcare? Many have no transportation to travel.
